{Repurposed} Jars

I've been saving empty jars for quite some time now and I've finally come up with a great way to put them to use. I've painted them with two coats of black-tinted glaze and decorated them with some of my favorite things: burlap, linen, lace and twine.

 I've added distressed wooden shapes and mother-of-pearl buttons to some of them. The best part of making them: they are each unique. An instant-sort of gratification project! Who doesn't love that?

I love, love, love the jars filled with a handful of twigs. They are the perfect finishing touch.

I'll share more as I get them finished. These are inspiring me to decorate candlesticks and bird houses in a similar fashion! One great project always leads to another. :)
