Mom And Ashley's Visit

As usual, the week with Mom and Ashley flew by. Our week was still filled with school and appointments and I worked 2 days- but we still fit in a lot of fun time. Ella has been begging for a tea party for probably over a month now, so we finally put one together. My Grandmother's china, a floral table cloth, candle and pretty cookies..that should hold her over for a while, I hope! Mom and Ash and the kids made and decorated cupcakes. They also went to the House of Bounce and to Chuck E. Cheese. Cohen called Ashley "Ash-shoo" and a few times "she-she", I think that was his best try at the "-ley" part of her name. Those two definitely shared a lot of giggles!

"The Creative Type" Blog Challenge

The challenge on the The Creative Type blog this time around is to use a magazine cover or advertisement as inspiration for a layout. I picked two Pottery Barn catalog covers and combined them for my inspiration. I even used the same title and the white paper doily I used represents the white coral. The picture I used is of Cohen's little piggies peeking out of the sand (from last summer).

These were taken 3 weeks ago. We walked out of preschool and MOPS and it was almost 70 degrees. Our first warm day- there was still a bit of snow on the ground. Cohen's wearing his jammies b/c it was PJ day at MOPS. How fun are his facial expressions?!
