"More"

I remember the way Ella pronounced "more," over any other word, because she said it so sweetly. Now we get to hear the sweetest little "more" from Cohen. It is so amazing to have this little baby boy learning to communicate with us. Which reminds me to mention- now that Cohen says "dada," he calls me dada- unless he wants something, then he says "mama!" Too funny!

On the Green

Friday night we headed out for a little family fun! ...Something Ella likes to call "Golf-Golf," or minature golf+ putt putt. This was Ella's first time golf-golfing and she had a blast. It was adorable to watch her and Eric, and she was rather patient with the lessons before she decided to play her way. Cohen was patient, too- he made it until the last four holes before he was ready to get out og the stroller. Then, I did my best to golf one-handed, holding a baby...mom sports 101. When I put Cohen down he grabbed a ball and put it in the hole, over and over...it was pretty cute. We played for 45 minutes; we were hot, sweaty and hungry when we were done, so we headed to Applebee's (which Eric and I were sure would be a disaster, but we made it through with no problems). It's really fun now that Ella is old enough to participate and enjoy some new activities. We're going to give bowling a try next! Oh, and the first thing she said to Eric saturday morning was, "Daddy, can we play golf-golf again today?" It was so cute, how did he resist?!

She's looney

This girl....she's something else! She's full of spunk. She's got more energy than a middle school pep rally. And sometimes...she's just plain looney. I took these pictures...but I didn't realize how funny they were until I looked at them on the computer. (I was too excited to upload them to the blog that I didn't edit)

Sometimes I can go a couple of days with out taking photos...and other days I go crazy. Today, I took over 50! Aren't their blue eyes just amazing?!

Cohen's Crawling!

Well, it's about time! But, then again- he was getting around by rolling, rolling, rolling...and I really wasn't in a hurry. Yesterday, it was a clumsy crawl and this afternoon he just took off. He was pretty proud of himself, too!

Just because..."it's a nice day, mom"

Pictures from today; just playing outside. It's been the perfect temperature- in the 70's. Having the windows open and watching the curtains blow in the breeze is good for the spirit. We had a picnic lunch, went to the school park and walked around the block. We found an old wood high chair with a "free" sign on it. Ella said, "mom, I think I would like to have that at my house. So, I carried it home, pushing the stroller, with Ella pushing her stroller with two babies of her own in tow. Of course, I cleaned it right away, and now she is actually in her room feeding her babies in her "new" high chair. Whatever it takes!
