ella ballerina

Ballerina Ella

Ella and Mama

I have to say, I've been struggling with Ella these past couple days. We just aren't getting along. This picture helps remind me that these tough days don't last.

I wish...

Ella has recently entered upon an "I wish" phase...some to do with all of the princess movies, I'm sure. She said to me "I wish I could eat an apple like Snow White and lay in that bed with my shoes on, like this (crossing her feet), and the Prince would come and get me." Too cute...and hilarious ...and a little bit beyond her three years...and well worth recording! (American Crafts, Dear Lizzy line).

'Pinkalicious' pages

some favorite layouts

These are some of my favorite recent layouts. Where's Cohen? Well, I got new stuff from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy line... (the top 3 layouts) and they are very girly...and are super inspiring. I've been going wild using this line.

'Pinkalicious' cupcakes

Ella's favorite book is 'Pinkalicious,' and it's about a little girl who loves pink, eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pinks herself.

It's hard to believe my baby is already 6 months old. What a sweetie he is. He really brightens our days. Just look at those baby blues!

Bouncing Baby Boy

It's always nice to have another option when "entertaining" a baby! He thinks he's pretty fancy!

Cohen's First Haircut

Cohen had his first haircut today. Isn't he a little young? Yes, he is. Ella didn't seem to think so. The thing is, I knew exactly what she was doing. She asked for his brush and for her play scissors (she's gives us pretend haircuts all the time). I gave her the pretend scissors. I walked away and Cohen screamed his I'm-in-pain-scream. I went running and immediately saw the real scissors and the sad little scratches all over his head. AND the little snip of hair missing. At least it's not a chunk. Someday we'll have Ella to thank for Cohen's toughness. (And someday, he fight back!)

Cohen in the tub

Cohen suddenly loves the tub...and today he was really going to town kicking his legs. What's even better is Ella's reason for wanting to get in the tub with him!

Almost Spring

This is March. Sunshine and melting snow. First walk outside of the season. Splashing in puddles. Making snow angels. Riding bikes. You can do it all in March! And just when you think Spring is on the way, we'll have a hec of a snow storm. We'll take all the sunshine we can get. We'll celebrate just because it's 35 degrees.

Cohen's 5 months old!

Yep, he's HOT STUFF!! And, yes, he'll probably hate me for this shirt someday. What a cutie.
