Of course, there is a story to this sad little cake...it was supposed to be a two-layered cake. Well, Eric and I ate the first layer the night before. So typical. So, one layer...that's okay...but then Eric and Ella decide to decorate. Ella was in charge of the blue sprinkles...and Eric, well, he did the frosting (very thoroughly, as you can see). And then me, being the pro thought I should write his name on the cake...the tube exploded as I started. The "happy birthday" looked okay, but you'll have to take my word on that. Then, last minute...Eric added Jax. It's cute...but all I could think about was Ella's first birthday cake- a monkey face with cocoa-krispies as the brown and a real banana peel for a hat. Actually, I think this one tasted better!
